In creating Uhl, Inc. in 1993, Greg Uhl merged his lifetime of maintenance experience, and technical skills, with his business, and educational background in mechanical engineering.  The result is a company that has earned a remarkable reputation as a leading contracting company in Wilmington NC and the surrounding area. About Greg Uhl:

• Raised on a farm in Indiana where he developed his mechanical aptitude and construction interest
  
• BS Mechanical Engineering with Honors Purdue University
• MBA Indiana University
• Year of first general contractor’s license:  1996
• Moved to Wilmington from Austin, TX  in 1992
• Active member since 1993 and past president of the Wilmington West Rotary Club
